Keeping People Stuck

Pick a country that is considered “developing,” regardless of the continent. Now, find a city in that country and do a search for a one-way flight from that country to what is considered a “developed” country, regardless of the continent. Now, reverse the search. Yes, the price is thoroughly different, and likely at least twice the cost of the first. What might be the reason for that? Well, likely, the reason is understood, but that will probably destroy a lot delusions that people have about “developed” countries.

Throughout the “developed” world, there has been quite a ruckus about immigration and all of those “undeserving” people who show up and try to steal resources from the “real” people. It seems that no one can be content in their own countries and are itching for the “sweet” life in all these “amazing” countries, who are constantly ranked as the happiest in the world. However, what most people fail to discuss is why those nations are happy versus the nations that are unhappy. Frankly, most of the people in “developed” countries have an army of human batteries that are being exploited to perpetuate this myth of happiness.

While all of those countries are screaming about immigrants, if anyone looks at most economic infrastructures, they depend on two things: 1) workers who receive less pay and benefits than the citizenry of the country, and 2) resources that have been exploited from one of the countries where those workers could have resided. The United States idiocy–pardon–democracy has done very little more than trade slaves, from multiple countries and often recruited by corporations. No, “wage slavery” is not the same as being under constant threat of imprisonment for existing on the wrong side of a border and possibly being murdered without consequence. These are the people who make that “luxurious” life possible for all those “deserving” people, but since they segregate themselves, their truth never confronts them.

Furthermore, if it costs more money to return than to arrive, what could be the objective? Likely, all of the politicians know and understand that they have created an underbelly with their horrible policies, and they need to create legal loopholes for corporations. Politicians have “nothing” to do with the cost of flights from one country to another, which allows for plausible deniability. Additionally, private entities know that making more money means that labor costs are usually cut and they can lobby more politicians. While businesses cannot have outright slavery, they need people more vulnerable than citizens to pay as little as they want to pay. Again: none of this is a secret, and all of these people know that everything they do–from exploiting these workers to the relentless smear campaign in the press–is morally repugnant.

What can be done about any of this? Exposure to the masses yields poor results, because people of “developed” countries often lack consciences based on living in convenience. TikTok spreads the word, but the truth is that so many people have fallen for the nonsense that people are literally entertained by truth. Voting is worthless, because private entities create politicians, and no one bites the hands that feed them. Honestly, nothing can be done short of a massive uprising, because the dominant narrative has made sure that all roads lead to maintaining the machine, not breaking it.

So when people foolishly bleat that immigrants should just go back to where they came from, consider why they left. Consider who created the circumstances that would encourage them to leave. No one willingly uproots to a life of hardship unless it is abundantly clear that staying in place is a ticket to consistent emotional abuse or a death sentence. Moreover, consider that there are people actively seeking skilled workers that are more vulnerable than citizens who can be regularly both exploited and harassed without anyone doing anything to stop it. Then think about who made it possible for that to happen and why.
