After many drafts and rampant imposter syndrome, I finally got my project up! For those who may not be aware, I spent many years doing in-person advocacy, and what happened during those years is why I have vigilantly saved my energy after the reelection of a tyrant. I started writing this the same year as I posted “Imperial Dialogue,” but a file got corrupted, and I had to restart. Most people who have recounted something unpleasant know this, but recounting several unpleasant experiences takes a lot of energy, and I have been working to release this so that I can also release the disappointments I had during all of those processes.
The format is video, but all I included was the logo, so people can listen without having to watch anything, and can listen while doing anything else if they want. All the videos are imperfect, like me, and I am working on finalizing the e-book based on reading aloud. Some might say that I could have used AI, but I am tired of the negation of artists that technoligarchs continue simply because they lack creativity. If I make money with this, I might do it again, but just like I stated in this accounting, I need the oxygen of resources, not simply appreciation. I will say that this will not be very entertaining, and some of it may simply feel like ranting. However, being authentic never sounds as enjoyable as others prefer, and I stand by the sentiments shared.
