In honor of Women’s Day and the beginning of Women’s History Month, I am uploading the PDF of the accounting of my work in advocacy. As always, this is not a happy story, and most of the projects end either stalled, completely revamped, or otherwise dysfunctional. This is a reminder not to believe the inspiration porn of Hollywood, or the mainstream publishing stories about the Black experience. If advocacy ended in more successes than failures, there would not need to be propaganda. For all who are interested in finding out why so many people are up in arms about how Representative Jasmine Crockett’s defeat was preceded by “love,” feel free to here from someone just working in the mud, sometimes literally.
Thank you for those who read. For those who want to hear instead of read, this is the page where I read aloud and include studies and links for the majority of the chapters. “Enjoy” is the wrong word, but I hope you feel enlightened.
