Rich People Don’t Solve Problems

One of the oft-repeated statements about the “elites” is that they frequently solve problems. To be fair, they own the media outlets to make that claim, so it should be no surprise that we have all been conditioned to believe that “elites” are the only ones who can solve the problems. However, over the past decade, we have all been increasingly confronted with the reality that not only do privileged people fail to solve problems, but they actively create problems for everyone else. Rich people are only motivated by money, and cannot understand a world outside their narrowed scope.

Most importantly, problem solving requires everyone to have access to the solutions, and by “everyone,” I mean everyone without exception. Insulin was created so that all diabetic people could enjoy free treatment, but after the patent was purchased, greedy monsters thought it would be amusing to watch poor, sick people die, and hid the solution behind money. There are more than enough homes for everyone on the planet, but unless the people hoarding them get enough money, the homeless population continues to increase. None of these issues are problems because the only true response is for hoarding morons to get over themselves and give other people a chance. In this way, solutions to problems are everywhere if greedy people could control themselves.

Next, rich people create issues for which money is the solution, but will not share any of their money knowing that access would solve problems. More money than anyone can earn in a lifetime is just a response of scarcity, and the irony is that none of the world’s richest people have experienced true scarcity. They have frequently lived privileged lives that have given them opportunities which few people could even imagine. Sadly, they are so virulently aware of the damage they have caused and they know that if people had enough money, rich people would become irrelevant. Striving for relevance is the only life they know, and so they hoard their resources and make everyone beg because their problem is a sense of self worth.

In truth, problem solvers need to be able to see the problems directly, and people with money are surrounded by those making their lives easier, which makes them terrible at resolving issues. Ever notice how talking to a privileged person is like talking to a brick wall when bringing up certain barriers? “My city has failed to provide any opportunities despite all my efforts.” “Just move! The world is your oyster!” “I wish my boss would recognize my work so that I could get a promotion.” “Just start a business! The only one stopping you is you.” Being able to recognize the barriers most people with a problem are facing is part of being able to solve a problem. Offering easy solutions that few people can access is not actually managing any issues.

Only now have people started respecting that rich people are not as smart as they have programmed us to believe, and I feel that we are all the better for it. Throughout history, there has been greed and inequality, but those groups can only function with armies of enablers. At this point, most of us are seeing that without the fake power, privileged people are stupid thieves without any self-awareness. There is no changing that.
