Right now, everyone is in a waiting period. The idea that marginalized populations can overcome the will of the willfully ignorant is laughable, so it now comes down to conviction. What will happen if the frustration leads to the same behavior? Project 2025 is the conservative iteration of a plan, but what is concerning is that the supposed opposition has very little planned. Outlier candidates are popular right now because it is clear that plans were made outside the public arena, but it is equally clear that those with the public ear had very little to say other than, “Keep things going the way they are.” All I know is that I have yet to be surprised by people who have the precedent of smiling in my face and lying.
